Seed parent: Anthurium carlablackiae #7. This plant is a numbered clone obtained from collectors in Florida. It exhibits extremely dark foliage with brilliant striking venation as well as a rotund shape.
Pollen parent: Anthurium dressleri RG F2. This plant was grown from seed by JV, and exhibits exceptional dressleri characteristics with extraordinarily dark foliage and a round leaf shape.

Tropical plants generally appreciate well-aerated soil mix and do not tolerate long periods of drought. My favorite soil amendments are tree fern and pumice mixed with some organic medium.
